Mobile connection package from alphatronics
Mobile home owners also want to have access to the Internet everywhere and sometimes with many different devices, because there are many applications that you simply do not want to miss on vacation. Alphatronics has now put together a package with which every owner of a motorhome or campervan can fulfill this wish. The “Mobile Connection Package” consists on the one hand of a roof antenna and an automotive-certified router, which can be configured using an associated app.
LTE/Wi-Fi router
The 12V router developed for use in motorhomes is equipped with two SIM card slots. For example, you can use the second card of the existing mobile phone contract or use a prepaid card as well.
The connection between the external antenna and router is coordinated to enable interference-free Internet reception in the vehicle. You can open your own network in the vehicle and connect to your smartphone, tablet or smart TV, for example, in order to stream films. Up to 30 devices can be connected in the network.
In addition, you can capture an existing Wi-Fi signal with the router, the router acts as a repeater into the vehicle interior. The weight is approx. 240g.
Multi-function roof antenna
The outdoor antenna has two isolated high-performance antennas (MIMO) for LTE reception and another for Wi-Fi reception.
In addition, the roof antenna has an active DAB + antenna and an active GPS / GLONASS antenna. An external antenna can improve radio and GPS reception in many vehicles. In this respect, the purchase of the antenna can also be worthwhile if you are still in doubt in view of the package price of €699.
The antenna weighs 270g. The required fastening material is included.
