Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2021

When the CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF opens its gates for the 60th time on August 28th, it will celebrate this anniversary with a real firework of innovations from at least 297 world and German premieres. In doing so, it impressively underlines its status as the world's largest trade fair for mobile leisure. Around 645 exhibitors will be presenting numerous innovations in 13 halls from August 28th to September 5th. The focus is on the new leisure vehicles of the model year 2022 but also accessories, components and tourist offers for camping, caravanning and van life. Numerous well-known exhibitors announced their innovations in the run-up to the fair. Experience over the past few years shows that many more highlights will only be revealed at the beginning of the exhibition.

Something for everyone

In 2021, visitors to Düsseldorf can once again expect a unique selection of mobile leisure products. Compared to the previous year, three additional halls will be used, there will be a significant increase in floor space of 48% and the number of exhibitors will increase by around 75%. "These growth rates underline the fact that the CARAVAN SALON serves as an impulse generator for the industry and is indispensable as an annual sales platform for the caravanning industry. The trends, innovations and new products for the coming season are presented in Düsseldorf. We are particularly pleased that many exhibitors who had refrained from participating last year have returned," says Stefan Koschke, Project Director Caravaning & Outdoor. Around 500 exhibitors will show the whole world of mobile travel on an area of more than 200,000 square metres. In 13 halls and on the open-air site, they will present the world's largest selection of caravans, motorhomes, campervans, vehicle technology, components and extension parts, tents, mobile homes, caravanning and camping accessories & equipment, outdoor clothing and equipment, tourism destinations as well as nature regions, camping and pitching offers.

CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2021 will be open from Saturday, August 28th, to Sunday, September 5th, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. For trade visitors and media representatives, the trade fair is already open on Friday, 27th August. Ticket sales and hygiene concept

Important for all visitors: All tickets can only be booked online at www.caravan-salon.com, which means that, as in 2020, no box office will be open. To ensure the best possible protection of all participants, proof of complete immunisation or an official negative test will be a prerequisite for admission to the CARAVAN SALON - the 3-G rule will therefore apply on the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds: Only visitors who have been vaccinated, tested or have recovered will be admitted. Masks are to be worn on the entire grounds. However, vehicles can also be viewed inside.

Equipment & Outdoor and Travel & Nature

This year, Hall 3 will celebrate its premiere at CARAVAN SALON. Here, exhibitors from the Equipment & Outdoor and Travel & Nature segments will present their offerings. Visitors will find a wide range of products on the topics of travel, destinations, regions, camping and pitches as well as tents, awnings, direct sales and equipment for outdoor enthusiasts and caravanning fans.

An informative and varied program awaits on the "Travel & Nature connected" stage. According to the motto "from the world to the hall, from the hall to the world", interactive lectures will be held here for trade fair visitors as well as interested parties and tourism professionals who cannot visit the CARAVAN SALON on site this year. A direct exchange with visitors is desired and also the digitally connected interested parties can ask questions via a chat function. In addition to hiking and trekking destinations as well as camping and camping sites, the National Natural Landscapes and the Association of German Nature Parks will present true treasure troves of nature on stage.

E-bike course in front of Hall 15

In the outdoor area in front of Hall 15, the "e-bike course" offers visitors the opportunity to try out the driving characteristics of electric bikes, e-scooters, electric scooters and eco-movers in a separate terrain.

Alpine in Hall 14 and on the open-air site

The Caravan Salon has been reorganised in the accessories area. This area is now located in Halls 13 and 14. Further below you will find a link to the interactive hall plan.

You will also now find the Alpine and alphatronics stand in Hall 14, Stand A28. Here you can actually sit on our motorhomecouch and maybe take a selfie.

Among other things, we will be presenting the new X903D-DU8 navigation system for the freshly redesigned Fiat Ducato, as well as an 11-inch version of the successful Halo9 series.

On the outdoor area in front of hall 12/13 you will also have the opportunity to experience our Alpine Adventure Audio Systems live in 2 demo vehicles:
The Adventure Audio System for the Fiat Ducato is available for trial listening in our exclusive Niesmann+Bischoff Smove. In addition, we can demonstrate our new reversing sensor, which makes manoeuvring even safer.
Convince yourself of our Adventure Audio System for the VW T6/T6.1 in our second demo vehicle. Our staff on site will be happy to give you more information about our Plug&Play Sound solutions and all other Alpine products.

There will also be a great prize draw, which is definitely worth stopping by the Alpine stand for!

Stay overnight at the Caravan Center

At the exhibition grounds, motorhome and caravan drivers can stay overnight at car park P1, the Caravan Center. Here too, reservations can only be made online, directly after booking an admission ticket for the fair. Due to the current Corona regulations, the 3-G principle also applies here. Users of the Caravan Center must therefore be vaccinated, tested or recovered. The regular price for a motorhome or caravan is 20€ per night. A motorhome with trailer costs 30€. Caravan Club members pay 2€ less each.
