Citroën goes camping

Citroën Holidays

The announcement in August 2023 that Citroën would be strengthening its position in the "vanlife" sector with its own model is now being followed by action. At CMT 24 in Stuttgart, the French company is presenting its first own camper van. The Citroën Holidays is based on the currently revised Spacetourer. Bravia Mobil is the conversion partner.

Four berth

The Citroën Holidays will be available to order from spring 2024 and offers sleeping space for four people. The pop-up roof tent is also available in body colour. The removable bench seat can be converted into a bed measuring 1.15 metres wide and 1.90 metres long, with the sleeping area measuring 1.95 metres by 1.20 metres at the top. The Citroën Holidays has programmable heating, a sink and cooking facilities with two gas burners, a 16-litre refrigerator and a retractable table as well as front seats that can be swivelled backwards. The kitchenette can be taken outside. The Holidays' fresh water and waste water tanks each hold ten litres. The 4.98 metre long camping van also offers a shower at the rear, which is coupled with a 25 litre tank.

Citroën offers a choice of two different diesel engines. The smaller one is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox, while the larger one has an eight-speed automatic transmission. Prices will be announced at the start of ordering. (aum)
