Camping with the VW T1 from Playmobil®

Playmobil® have brought out their own version of the Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus. The plastic model is on a scale of 1:18 and based on a corresponding vehicle from 1962 from the classic car collection of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in Hanover. The beige-grey and sealing wax red coloured Playmobil bus has, just like its larger prototype, a folding bench seat, table and opening cupboards filled with both food and camping utensils from the colourful world of games. Behind the engine compartment flap, at the rear you will find a replica of the classic four-cylinder boxer engine.

The T1 Camping Bus from Playmobil is 25 cm long, 11 cm wide and 13 cm high; it costs around 50 GBP in the shops. (ampnet/jri)
