VW Bus Festival

UPDATE: Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is postponing the VW Bus Festival to the summer of 2023 (new date 23 to 25 June 2023). The original plan was to hold the gathering of several thousand VW Buses from around the world from 15 to 17 July 2022 at the Hanover exhibition grounds.

"We don't want to celebrate a festival when there is war in Europe and refugees have to arrive in Hanover and be looked after," says Lars Krause, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand board member for sales and marketing, explaining the decision. The capital of Lower Saxony is currently the central contact point for refugees in Lower Saxony. The festival will now take place one year later, in the summer of 2023. (aum)
