The presale of the VW Caddy California has started. With variable living, sleeping and storage space, the popular high-roof bestseller can also be ordered as a mobile home for the first time. The crossover of compact van and camper is based on the equipment line of the Caddy Life and costs from 29,886.85 euros (19 percent VAT) with the 75 PS (55 kW) TDI engine.
The Caddy California is based on the latest Caddy generation and thus uses the technology and space-saving arrangement of the modular transverse matrix (MQB). The camper equipment includes a new fold-out bed with disc springs and a high-quality mattress, which should offer the same sleeping comfort as the beds of the big Bulli brothers T6.1 California and Grand California. Panoramic roof optional
The Caddy California can optionally be ordered with a 1.4 square meter panorama roof including a blackout option.
