Trigano wants to grow with Mediterranean motorhomes

Benimar, actually based on the Spanish Mediterranean coast near Valencia, has recently built a plant that is directly adjacent to the production facility, where the bestseller of the basic vehicles rolls off the production line. In Val di Sangro, next to the production halls of the Fiat Ducato, motorhomes are now being built, which should preferably be launched in Germany. Semi-integrated and integrated
motorhomes are offered under the name Tesoro, and the range also includes alcove models. The price list for the stylishly furnished vehicles starts at around 40,000 euros.

The French brand Challenger is known for its attractive floor plans, which, thanks to the excessive use of pull-down beds, offer plenty of living space and still plenty of sleeping space. The program has been restructured, entry with good equipment is now possible for 51,490 euros. At level two there is already the more powerful Ducato with 140 hp (103 kW) and the new automatic transmission in the Graphite models. On level three there
are fine extras such as an outside shower and outside gas connection, satellite TV is just as standard as the Ford Transit with a long wheelbase as the base vehicle. The 337 EB floor plans are new with an en-suite bathroom, the “face-to-face” seating area and pull-down beds in the center of the car and in the rear. Instead, the 328 QB has a 1.6-meter-wide queen-size bed, the height of which allows a rear garage.

At the design-oriented manufacturer Mobilvetta, the Krosser series now comes to us without lifting beds. The new partially integrated Kea P ti costs at least 60,000 euros, and three floor plans with lengths of 7.00 and 7.50 meters are now on offer. The integrated Kea I makes up more than half of the 300 Mobilvetta motorhomes sold by us last year and starts at 67,000 euros.

Roller Team is the entry-level brand of the Mediterranean Trigano members. Motorhomes are available here for less than 45,000 euros. So far, large mobiles with a body length of more than seven meters have been used almost exclusively, in the new season Roller Team is increasingly focusing on shorter variants. The alcove models have six places and six beds over a length of six meters. Especially suitable for large families or landlords. The price list of the renewed Kronos series starts at 41,000 euros, the higher-quality Zefiro and Granduca series are available for at least 44,400 and 56,000 euros.

Strong increase in sales figures again in June In Germany, all four brands are sold through the Eura Mobil dealer network
, and sales figures are expected to increase significantly in the new season. Last year the Trigano Group sold 5620 motorhomes with us, this year it should be 6110 units despite the Corona crisis. The sales department plans to have 8,200 vehicles for 2021. In view of the current increases, and June was also an extremely successful month for the industry with an increase of 65 percent (compared to the same period in the previous year), these expectations seem rather cautious. (ampnet / mk)
