The Austrian Pillerseetal makes you want to go on family holidays

Recovery experiences with dinosaurs and coaster tracks

(djd). What is on the agenda today? A tour of Europe's first digital hiking trail and bathing fun at Lake Lauchsee? Or perhaps you prefer stand-up padding on Lake Piller and a visit to the dinosaurs on the stone slab? One thing is certain: There is no chance of boredom on family holidays in Pillerseetal, Austria, in the middle of the Kitzbüheler Alps. The leisure opportunities are huge. Anyone who wants to can also simply enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet of the mountain world.

Digital hiking trail

Three mountain railways take holidaymakers from the valley to the mountain experience worlds. From the Lärchfilzkogel mountain station above Fieberbrunn, for example, you can walk through the wild alpine area along the digital "Museum goes Wild" hiking trail. What's special about this is that Anyone who has downloaded the Go Wild app will experience amusing stories and educational short films at ten stations. Learn how cloning works in nature or why plants can be real offenders. The eight interactive stations of the new Flora & amp; Fauna theme tour "Museum plays Wild" around the reservoir lake Streuböden are equally exciting. With your hands and feet, you get to know the local little ones in a very special way.

Further adventures await in Timok's wild world at the Spreading Soils substation. Here, young and old can get out to their heart's content: Water games, climbing park, coaster track, forest cable gardens, women's housings and playgrounds make time fly by.

Adventure trip to prehistoric times

Into the gondola and out into the prehistoric era: The stone slab in Waidring is one of the top places to visit. Where the Urmeer Tethys was 200 million years ago, today you can hike, climb, bike - and enjoy regional delicacies in the alpine huts. The views from the glass viewing platform, which hovers 70 metres above the abyss, are spectacular.

Almost a must is a visit to Triassic Parks, which promises an exciting adventure trip into the prehistoric age. The interactive amusement park is home to lifelike dinosaurs, sea reptiles and much more in underwater gondolas. Or how about a trip to the Pillersee family park in St. Jakob in house with 40 great attractions?

Quiet hiking experiences, on the other hand, promise a tour to the 30-metre-high Jakobskreuz - probably the largest walkable summit cross in the world. Great: The mountain and valley highlights for families were combined with an interactive mystery rally - "The Secret of the Stone Mountain King". This makes the excursions even more fun.
