Route of Delights
Since its inception in 2015, the Route of Delights has connected the regions from Aschaffenburg along the Main via Wertheim to Würzburg and from the mouth of the Tauber in Wertheim up to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The centre of the Route of Delights is the town of Wertheim. In the current new edition of the Genussführer, the area was only minimally expanded and additionally condensed within the route, as it was clear from the beginning that there were additional Genusspartner in the area that could not all be included the first time around. Along the route, the suppliers of exquisite products are now strung together even more densely like pearls. They include some of Germany's best winegrowers, producers of noble brandies and rum products, fine tobaccos and smoked goods, oils, spices and baked goods. Gastronomic establishments, some decorated with stars, exclusive shopping highlights as well as creative artists, singers and floral design.
The Route of Delights makes it possible to experience:
- the culinary, cultural and historical highlights along the route;
- the charming landscapes along the Main and Tauber rivers.

The Route of Delights is a living association of the region's gourmet businesses with the aim of demonstrating the diversity, quality and special features of regional products and establishing the area on the market as a region of delights.
The pleasure guide through Main, Tauber & Churfranken
After the great interest in the first edition, the current work was again brought to the market in German and English. Parallel to this, there is a German and English homepage. The booklet is not only a travel and enjoyment guide for tourists, but also serves as a guide and enjoyment finder for locals, because not everyone is aware of the many treasures on their doorstep. The booklet presents what is special about the region in a goal-oriented and simple way, without complicated and time-consuming research.
The booklet is distributed through all participating businesses and the tourism associations involved. In addition, the guide can be ordered directly via the website. Shortly, bookable programmes for individuals and groups will be put together so that visitors to the region can try out and experience these wonderful recommendations first hand. Of course, anyone interested is also completely free to explore on their own.
