In this little baking miracle, you can cook almost anything you can do in a conventional oven. All you have to do is adjust your familiar recipes with regard to cooking times and experiment with the temperatures a little. Among our recipes you will find some very delicious examples from food blogger Doreen Düe, perfectly tailored to the Omnia.
In the basic equipment, the furnace consists of three parts, which must be used together. They ensure that top and bottom heat is evenly emitted inside. The round container with the distinctive hole in the middle stands on a shell-shaped bottom part, which also has a hole in the middle. The bottom tray directs hot air from the heat source to the bottom of the Omnia mould, providing lower heat. The holes in the bottom shell and Omnia shape allow the hot air inside the structure to rise, hitting the lid and thus providing top heat. Ventilation holes are provided in the lid.
The Omnia oven can be used on all heat sources except induction hobs. It is important to note, however, that the power or the heat output varies from stove to stove. Simply test the Omnia oven the first time you use it with a simple recipe such as a mixing cake dough to find the right temperature for your stove.
Practical accessories are also available for basic equipment, such as a silicone insert, which makes cleaning the furnace much easier. In addition, you can use a baking grate to make fresh bread rolls in the morning, for example.
